Product Introduction
Rubber anti-degradation agent MB (MBI), scientific name is 2-Mercapto benzimidazole, molecular formula is C7H6N2S, CAS number is 583-39-1. MB (MBI) is a white powder, odorless, with good stable storage ability, widely used in natural rubber, chloroprene rubber (CR), polystyrene (SBR), nitrile rubber (NBR) and ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) as a non-toxic secondary antioxidant. The product is soluble in alcohol, acetone, ethyl acetate, slightly soluble in petroleum ether, dichloromethane (CH2Cl2), but insoluble in CCI4, benzene and water. The main properties include effective protection against thermal oxidation, especially when used in combination with amines. The product has the appearance of white powder, content ≥96.0%, initial melting point ≥290°C, drying loss ≤0.40%, ash ≤0.40%, 63µm sieve residue ≤0.50%. The recommended packaging method is 25kg plastic woven bags, paper plastic film bags or kraft paper bags. The storage conditions should be dry, cool, well-ventilated, and avoid direct sunlight. It can be stored for 24 months from the date of production. Ultra-fine powder products can be provided according to customer needs.
